Defibrillators

This map shows the locations of defibrillator units within the council area to help residents understand their distribution. It also shows locations submitted by other local councils to build up a national map.

Please note, this map is not definitive and may contain errors. It should not be used for emergency purposes.

Thanks to the efforts of our Parish Council, Coldridge now has 2 defibrillator devices available for emergency use – one sited at the Village Hall in Coldridge Centre, the other in ‘The Old Phone Box’ in Eastleigh.

General guidance on initial emergency response and defibrillator use is available here.  Once in operation, the defibrillators will talk you through the steps required based on the specific emergency situation encountered.

Coldridge Parish Council Defibrillator Update, Dec 2021

Please find below a message from Keyth Richardson on behalf of our Parish Council, 7th December 2021:-

” iPad SP1 semi-automatic defibrillators

I have set these up and they talk you through exactly what to do. There is a child button which needs setting for anyone under 8 years old, and this clear to see and use.

These are in carry cases within the wall mounted boxes and were installed on December 7^th 2021

With each defibrillator is a set of spare pads and an iPadAED Starter Kit comprising:

• tough shears to cut clothing off
• prep razor to shave any hairy chests
• a pair of nitrile gloves
• resuscitation face shield
• 2 patient wipes

The information booklets and 2 spare iPadAED Starter Kits are in the high cupboard in the Village Hall kitchen to the left of the sinks
